From our RV park you can go 5.5 miles out on the Dike around Lake Okeechobee and see an eagle nest with both parents in residence and eaglets in the nest. I never saw the babies but the parents chased me out of the hood. It wasn’t the first time I was chased by a bird on that trip. An Osprey ran me from his hood after chasing away a vulture.
