Winter 2016 to Spring 2017

This is our last winter in the RV. Kacey has become a veteran RVing puppy dog. She is just as comfortable living in the RV as she is in our home in New HampSHIRE (or the “Shire” as l like to call it). When Kacey is hanging in the hood (AKA RV Park), she can likely be found on the dashboard checking out the people and their pets going by. We have discovered that way more people in the RV Park know Kacey than us. As I said previously this is our last season RVing. Thus our objective was to spend the winter in Florida checking out rentals for next year. We ended up staying in a county park in Melbourne Beach FL, and a county park in Belle Terra (south St Petersburg) FL. These parks were very dog friendly, had lots of critters (mostly birds) and a lot of water to play with. Kacey likes the water but does not know yet that she can swim. She will go into the water and splash around (dig for sea critters) up to her belly. She is concerned about moving water (waves) so it’s a game to not get caught by one. The St Pete county park was a particular favorite because they had big fenced dog parks and a dog beach. Way cool.

We also stopped on the way down south and on the way back north in Myrtle Beach Travel park. Another ocean park that’s a Kacey favorite.

We returned home in early March to the worst weather of the winter in NH. Kacey of course does not mind the cold and loves the snow. Here is an example of how much she hates the snow:

One of the things that makes Kacey more unique than most of the other dogs we have owned, is TV watching. She oftewn watches TV with my wife. It’s very entertaining her reaction when other dogs are on TV:
