Kacey is our new dog. She’s a Wheaten Terrier. We looked all over the country for a Wheaten and found Kacey in Canton OH. We picked her up on our way home from our winter in the south in 2015. She was a trooper from day one. Her birthday is 1/22/2015.
When we got her she was 17 lbs.
Now we needed a name. An Irish dog needs an Irish name. My wife would not allow me to name her Shamrock so;
Kacey - Vigilant; Not a most common name, it is based off of "Casey" and "Kasey" and is used for females mostly. Its origin is Gaelic and means Bright, Intelligent, and Creative.

Kaceys grandmother was also on the premices when we picked Kacey up. Her name is Faith. Grace (kacey’s mom) and Grace's mother Faith were running around the house when we arrived. You could not tell mother and daugher apart. Kacey is following in her mother and grandmother’s footsteps. We could not be happier about that. The following picture is of Zoey (relation ?) and Faith. This is what Kacey will look like when she matures.
